Frequently Asked Questions
For Current Clients

If I want to make more appointments with Dr. Branch, how should I do that?

Click this link: branchpsychological.clientsecure.me

Click "I'M AN EXISTING CLIENT"

Enter your email (that you provided to Dr. Branch) and follow the prompts to get logged into your client portal. You will see an Appointments tab from which you can select and request specific appointment times. If you are unable to get yourself scheduled, you may reach out to the office via scheduling@branchpsychological.com

What do I need to do if my insurance changes?

If your insurance company remained the same, but the policy was changed, please log in to your Headway account here and enter the new policy number/information.

If you had United, Optum, Oscar, or Aetna and are changing from one of these to another of these, please log in to Headway and enter your new insurance information.

If you are changing to an insurance company not listed above, Dr. Branch will likely not be able to accept that insurance, so you would need to switch to self-pay for your therapy visits.

How do I connect if my session is virtual?

You should have received a link via email from SimplePractice for connecting with Dr. Branch at the time of your session. The link will be in the email and/or text reminder that goes out 2-3 days prior to your scheduled session. You will also receive one more email/text with a link about 10 minutes prior to the session. If you do not receive a link about 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled time, your appointment may have accidentally been entered as an in-person session, so please email scheduling@branchpsychological.com to request a link for your video session.

What if I need an appointment sooner than the online schedule shows availability?

Dr. Branch's office is for outpatient psychotherapy. As such, it is not an appropriate location for handling crisis situations. If you are in an urgent or immediate crisis, please call 911 and seek an urgent care option.

If you are not in an urgent crisis, but would prefer to see Dr. Branch sooner than later, you are welcome to email scheduling@branchpsychological.com to request to be placed on the cancellation list and/or request an emergent session, if available. The recommendation is to go ahead and book the first available you see in your client portal to hold that spot in case no sooner appointments are possible.
